... A veces el sol es un árbol en llamas.
Obra creada durante el proceso de residencia en el XIV Festival Tsonami.
El punto de partida de este proceso fue trabajar desde el territorio de la ciudad de Valparaíso y con sus características específicas. Mi exploración me llevó a trabajar con la temática del fuego en la historia pasada y presente de este territorio.
Recolectando sonidos y realizando activaciones sonoras espontáneas en los sitios de los incendios más dramáticos del siglo XX, uniendo con entrevistas a un bombero y un investigador del territorio, construí un primer relato que se materializó en una obra radiofónica que fue transmitida durante el festival.

Work created during the residency at the XIV Festival Tsonami.
The starting point of this process was working from the territory of the city of Valparaíso and its specific characteristics. My exploration brought me to work with the thematic of fire in the past and present history of this territory.
Collecting sounds and performing spontaneous sound activations at the sites of the most dramatic fires of the 20th century, combining them with interviews to a fireman and a researcher of the territory, I constructed a first story that was embodied in a radio play that was broadcast during the festival.
